This resource aims to assist teachers providing e-sgol courses to:
Build an effective working relationship with learners
Create an atmosphere where learners feel comfortable and confident to contribute effectively to the learning
Ensure effective Active Learning while taking a hybrid approach to delivering their courses
Ensure effective use of the learning strategies that allow Active Learning - learners find information, use it and reflect on it
Nurture Relationships:
Flip Presentations
Flip is a video discussion platform that allows teachers and students to interact through short video responses
Purposeful Free Time
Give learners access to the lesson 10 minutes before an official start time for them to have unofficial discussions

Face to Face Sessions
The face to face sessions will enable teachers to create a physical presence for the learners, build relationships, set expectations and teach the learners with their peers in the same room.

Asynchronous Discussions
Flip is a video discussion platform that allows teachers and students to interact through short video responses
Assessment for Learning
Mentimeter is a presentation tool that uses quizzes, polls and word clouds to help engage students during an interactive session
Breakout Rooms
Microsoft Teams Breakout Rooms is a feature that allows the host (Teacher) of a Teams meeting to split the attendees (Students) into smaller groups.
Collaboration
Collaborate on a piece of work or show working out of problems by teacher in real time using the interactive whiteboard.
JAMBOARD
Jamboard is a digital whiteboard that lets you collaborate in real time using either the Jamboard device, web browser or mobile app.
