Pupils to create a website based on their school to give to Year 6 pupils.
This can also include interacting and collaborating where pupils can work together
Pupils can take original images around the school
This could be done using Google Sites
They have to use persuasive language, informal tone and spelling, punctuation and grammar.

Create mock social media accounts for literary characters and examine their mind-set in a modern world.
Examine adapting online behaviour and interactions for different audiences, examining global cultural values, e.g. critically evaluate behaviour and interactions taking into account global cultural values; consider how online behaviour is perceived by others.
Identify stereotypes and their impact in a range of media forms, e.g. critically reflect upon stereotypes in mass media, social media and gaming.
Collaborate on research and share ideas regarding a particular text or theme (Google Slides).
Explain reasons for layout and content of their own digital creations or the creation of others, e.g. evaluate the presentation for audience and appropriateness, does it fit the brief?
Invite feedback/responses from others, e.g. use 'comment' in Word Online/Excel Online for asking questions or adding suggestions
Identify parts of a performance that could be extracted and inserted into a separate sequence. Explain what the possibilities and outcomes are of modifying a performance.
Examine a set piece in film production, sequence sets and acts in the filming process so filming can be done in location order rather than chronological order.
Use digital tool to create a blog or Vlog Post. Plan and write an appropriate script for an audience and a specific purpose. Collaboration opportunity. Opportunities to discuss E-Safety and online sharing, fake news and credibility of online sources.
Use digital tools to collect and collate different responses to a particular text or theme
Modern Foreign Languages (MFL)
Identify patterns in translation and attempt to produce instructions/code to solve translation problems. Can also provide rules for translation.
Produce a set of instructions to direct someone to a location (left, right, straight on, etc.) This can then be turned into using different languages to describe one function of a robot, e.g. forward, back, turn left, repeat, etc., in different languages. Write an algorithm in different languages.
Create mock social media accounts for famous figures from different cultures
Create social media or blog posts in a different language. Target audience must be defined.
Plan, design and create a multimedia presentation or video/Vlog to encourage or demonstrate another language or culture.
Investigate how digital technology has enabled us to experience multiple cultures, languages and locations without physically leaving our country of origin.
Use collaborative tools (e.g. google docs) to create an interactive and dynamic vocabulary like, word bank or phrase book for different languages. This can be accessed by multiple users simultaneously and shared with those new to the languages as a learning resource.
