Logging into a Chromebook from home or need technology support??
Step 1: After turning on the Chromebook, you should be prompted to connect to your home's WIFI network. If not, there is a little WIFI icon in the bottom right corner of the Chromebook screen. Once clicking there, WIFI options should open and then you can select your home's WIFI Network and enter your home's WIFI password.
Step 2: Enter the student's Username and Password. (make sure the "L" in the password is capitalized).
After a few seconds the Chromebook should log into their account and you should be all set.
Free wifi will be provided at the football stadiums at Milford High School and Lakeland High School.

Google Log-in Procedure (Using the Google Chrome Browser):
Please remember that if a child logs into their google account from home, they need to add "@hvs.org" after their username. For example, "30johnsona@hvs.org" would be the email/username. Then they will enter their individualized password (Making sure the "L" is capitalized and they include their 4-5 digit pin number, ex. Learn12345). During the log-in process, a Google pop-up will ask to "link data." The "link data" button must be pressed in order for the student's account to be completely synced.
If you are having trouble accessing your child's account, please contact the HVS Tech. Department by phone at 248-684-8173 or email at help.desk@hvs.org. Unfortunately, Gen. Ed Teachers and Tech. Teachers don't have access or the capabilities to help if you are getting any sort of error message, have Wifi connection problems, or a password that isn't working.
