Voter Eligibility

**If you are 18 by November 3th, 2026, you are eligible to vote in the NJ Primary elections on June 10th at age 17.

To register in New Jersey, you must be:

• A United States citizen

• At least 17 years old, turning 18 by the NJ general election- Must be 18 to participate in the presidential election

• A resident of the county for 30 days before the election

• You are not serving a sentence of Incarceration as a result of a conviction of an indictable offense under the laws of this or another state or of the United States.

You are not eligible to register to vote if:

• You are serving a sentence of Incarceration as a result of a conviction of an indictable offense under the laws of this or another state of the United States.
