• Online: Visit the New Jersey Division of Elections to register online.

*Make sure to have either your social security number or your driver's license out while filling out the online registration.*

"On July 4, College Board will launch an initiative to ensure students can own their future by registering to vote. It will enable eligible students—those who are 18 years or older and live in the U.S.—to participate in College Board programs with the option to seamlessly register to vote and receive election reminders." Step by Step Guide for Registering Online

1. Make sure you have the necessary materials! To register, you will need either:

• A current and valid Driver’s License or a non-driver Identification Card (ID card) issued by the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC). Your information will be provided to the MVC to validate identification, and to retrieve a copy of your digitized signature.

• A Social Security number. To use your social security number, you must have the ability to sign on-screen or upload your signature to complete the registration process. If you are unable to provide a digital signature, you can not register online. Click here to download the voter registration application for your county.
