Transcript Requests

1. Students requesting a transcript be sent to a college must first create a College Tracker in Xello. 

2. Whether or not a college is on the Common Application, start the application.

3. Create a College Tracker in Xello under Goals and Plans, College Planning. Be sure to add the deadline you’re applying for and indicate Early Decision, Early Action, Regular Decision, or Rolling Admission.

4. You will assign your counselor and teacher recommendation requests in Xello.

5. Submit your Transcript Release form from the Documents and Forms page to your counselor (you and a parent/guardian must sign)

6. When you have submitted your college application, let your counselor know in writing (via email) so they know to submit your transcript.

7. Transcript Release forms are also available in the School Counseling Office. Please allow up to 10 days for processing.

ALUMNI and THIRD PARTY REQUESTS: 

HVRHS alumni and third party organizations requesting a transcript or education verification should contact Mrs. Kristina Simonds, Registar, in the School Counseling Office by email at ksimonds@hvrhs.org, by fax (860) 824-0130, or by telephone (860) 824-5123 extension 1170. Third party organizations must email or fax the request with the alumni release to ksimonds@hvrhs.org or (860) 824-0130. Please allow up to 10 days to process and provide the following information:

• Your full name at the time of graduation or withdrawal.

• Date of birth.

• Year of graduation or withdrawal; specify if you graduated or withdrew.

• Where your transcript should be mailed, emailed, or faxed.

• Your telephone number/email address in case we need to reach you.

SCHOLARSHIPS:

Students requesting a transcript be sent to a scholarship must submit the request in person or by email to the School Counseling Office. If the School Counseling Office is responsible for submitting your application please provide all completed materials to be submitted together. The transcript request form submitted for post graduation institutions covers all scholarship transcript requests. Please allow up to 10 days for processing.

1. Indicate which scholarship you would like your transcript to be sent, along with the address.

2. Indicate the scholarship deadline.

3. List the names of the individuals whose recommendations you'd like to include if needed.

4. Bring all materials paper clipped together to the School Counseling Office. No envelopes or staples please.

University of Connecticut Early College Experience (UConn ECE)

If you are heading to college and want your transcript from UConn, please see the UConn ECE Utilizing your Credit webpage. Fall course grades are stored in February, and grades for spring and full year courses will be available July 1. You will also want to check with the college you're attending to submit it to the correct place which is typically a registrar or academic affairs office.
