How to make a Drawing Robot!

Hello BPS 4th grade families!

Our 4th graders have been building drawing robots in art class. Many students have asked me where they can get the materials to make their own robot at home. Listed below are the materials you would need to make a robot like the one that we made in art class. 🙂 I’ve included links from Amazon.

If you are not able to source these materials but would still like to have this opportunity with your student, please don’t hesitate to reach out. If you have the following materials and would like to donate them to the art room, please let me know!

1. One Toy Motor

2. One Battery Holder with a switch

3. Batteries

4. Tape

5. Three markers

6. One paper cup

7. ½ of a popsicle stick (they used a magnet in the video below but we taped ½ a popsicle stick to the rotating part of the motor instead)
