Please join us in celebrating two of our school nurses, Deirdre Fennelly, RN (Warren) and Magge Stone, RN (Harwood) for successfully passing the National Board Certification Examination for School Nurses. They join an elite group of professional nurses including three other of our district nurses; Allison Conyers, RN (Brookside), Soph Hall, RN (Brookside), and Clayton Wetzel, RN (Waitsfield). 

Board certification in school nursing is a formal recognition of advanced knowledge, competence, and a personal commitment to excellence in the specialty practice of school nursing on behalf of the better health and education of school-age children. To earn the NCSN, a Registered Nurse must demonstrate a high level of education, clinical practice experience, and knowledge (NBCSN).
