Hutto ISD strives to provide a safe and healthy learning environment for all students and staff so that the focus can be on student learning.
Workers’ Compensation & Vehicle Accident Reporting
Hutto ISD partners with the Political Subdivision Workers’ Compensation Alliance (the Alliance) to manage healthcare and treatment for work-related injuries. The Alliance includes healthcare providers trained in treating work-related injuries and ensuring safe returns to work. Employees are required to visit an Alliance Network Provider for non-emergency medical treatment.
When you are injured at work:
Immediate Notification: Inform your supervisor immediately. Complete the Work Place Injury Report Form.
Emergency Medical Situations: Go to the nearest emergency room for treatment.
Non-Emergency Medical Situations: Choose a treating provider from the list available on the Alliance website.
TASB Risk Management Fund
The TASB Risk Management Fund provides workers’ compensation coverage for Hutto ISD. If medical treatment is required:
A TASB RM Claims Adjuster will be assigned to you.
The Claims Adjuster will contact you to discuss your injury.
Claims Adjusters coordinate with healthcare providers, the district, and employees to ensure you receive timely medical treatment and can return to work as soon as safely possible.
For any questions about treatment for a work-related injury, contact your assigned adjuster at 800.482.7276.
