The Wind Ensemble is the Varsity group of the Farley band program. It consists of the top musicians in the band program. Members of the Wind Ensemble are expected to compete in the TMEA Region 26 Region auditions, U.I.L. Concert and Sightreading evaluation, and the Farley Band Solo & Ensemble Festival. The Wind Ensemble may also participate in local festivals and record for state and national recognition/performance opportunities.
The Wind Ensemble will have its own after school weekly sectionals. Attendance is mandatory. The coaches will excuse you from practice to participate in them.
