How will my child be serviced at school?

• ALL of the students in the program have been identified as gifted using state approved gifted student selection criteria. The teacher of the course has gifted certification. The class meets on average for a minimum of 150 minutes per week.

• At the elementary level: Resource Room (RRT) – In this delivery system, 100% of the teacher’s time is spent providing direct instruction designed to meet the academic and affective needs of identified gifted students who are "pulled out" of the regular classroom for one or more sessions per week.

• At the middle school level: Special Class (SCT) - In this delivery system, 100% of the teacher’s time is spent providing direct instruction designed to meet the academic and affective needs of identified gifted students who are assigned to a class for one or more periods/blocks a day.
