this is a game that will be new to them. Take some time to explain to them and show them an example. We have been practicing the solfege but the game might be new to them.
After they get the hang call on volunteers to try.
listen and then sing along. You may have to pause it so they can echo sing it one line at a time. Some classes have done this once but some have done it a few times

eventually have them echo the whole thing

have them partner up and try it
try as a class slow, medium, and fast
distribute boomwhackers even among students. each student should start with just one. go through the scale so they can see which note they have. Play along, trade boomwhackers, play again.
with extra time, students may suggest a music class game they enjoy playing. If they can explain it to you and they know how to play they may do so.
