TRIO Educational talent search (ETS)
TRIO ETS is a program that motivates and supports students to graduate from high school and go to the college of their choice. We focus on low-income and potential first generation students, but all students are encouraged to submit an application. There are TRIO programs located at colleges and universities across the country, so once you are in TRIO, you are always in TRIO!
We serve middle and high school students in all the school tabs listed above and provide the following services:
Academic Advising (All HUSD high schools)
Tutoring
Workshops (for students and families)
Summer programming

Hayward Promise neighborhoods
Chabot College is one of various partners in the Hayward Promise Neighborhoods (HPNs) working to revitalize the South Hayward neighborhood. The Chabot HPN Program works collaboratively to provide students and families in South Hayward comprehensive support throughout the “cradle to college to career” pipeline.
We serve César Chávez Middle School, Winton Middle School, Hayward High School and Tennyson High School. We are planning for expansion into Bret Harte Middle School and Brenkwitz Alternative High School in January 2024. We provide the following services:

Workshops (for students and families)

College Corps
College Corps Fellows will be placed in community-based organizations working in K-12 education, climate action, and food insecurity. As part of the service experience, Fellows will earn $10,000, receive ongoing training, and become part of a statewide cohort of young leaders across California. Undergraduate students at any partner campus of the #CaliforniansForAll College Corps are invited to apply.

Hello Insight is an AI-powered evaluation platform that helps youth development programs continually evaluate and respond to what young people need. By developing surveys based on the latest research on social and emotional learning, Hello Insight provides members with a new perspective of their programs, shedding light on their strengths and the experiences that can help them grow.
