Millicent - Millicent has returned to school ready to learn. She is being a risk-taker and is trying really hard to apply her newly learnt phonics knowledge to read and spell words. She is a confident communicator and is happy to share her knowledge with her peers in class. Well done Millicent!
George - George has been fantastic this week, he is using the phonics he knows to begin to fly with his reading and his writing! I am proud of how engaged he is in our carpet sessions and communicating his ideas well, especially challenging himself for the deeper thinking questions. He is able to explain his thinking to support his peers too. Well done George!
Hallie - We have been amazed with the change in Hallie in Module 2. She is now a confident communicator and is happy to share her thoughts and ideas with the class. Well done Hallie!
Jacob - Jacob has made huge strides in his phonics over the last few weeks. He is knowledgeable in his phonics sounds and is now applying these in segmenting and blending words to read. He has a positive attitude to learning and is a willing communicator in carpet sessions. Well done Jacob!
Maisy - Maisy has been a fantastic thinker this week and has communicated her ideas well with the class. She is focusing well and trying really hard in all areas making some great progress in maths in particular. Well done Maisy!
Ryley - Ryley has been reflective this week. He is thinking about what he is learning and is taking on board the suggestions on how to improve his recorded work. He is taking more risks in his writing and challenging himself. In his independent learning time, he is taking the time to think about his actions, considers the consequences and ensures that he is a star learner both on and off the carpet. Frankie - Frankie is readily applying her new knowledge in her independent work, making links and connections and communicating these well. She is always an active member of the class, communicating her thinking well. I am especially impressed with her risk taking in literacy, challenging herself to write sentences in Drawing Club and reading more difficult words. Well done Frankie!

Floss - Floss has such an amazing attitude to learning. She approaches everything she does with positivity, enthusiasm and a smile. She has shown her reflective skills this week in her phonics work, using what she already knows to improve as well as being a risk taker in her computing work to achieve an amazing final product. Ralphie - Ralphie has returned to school with a 'can do' attitude and is always ready to learn. He has been a great inquirer due to asking and answering lots of questions during learning time, as well as showing how knowledgeable he can be in maths lessons.
Isla - Isla has been a principled learner this week in Lizard Class. She has shown great independence when completing her learning and I have been impressed with Isla taking risks in maths lessons, especially when exchanging and crossing the ten when adding and subtracting.

Freddie - This module Freddie has shown many Learner Profile Attributes but one that he has developed greatly is his ability to be caring towards his peers. There has not been a day where Freddie has not helped a member of Lizard Class, especially if they have been finding learning difficult. Willow - Willow has been a risk-taker in her maths this week. She has been attempting to work out a number of mathematical calculations independently, using a range of methods. She has really developed her confidence within math and enjoys trying to challenge herself. Well done Willow.
