Star of the week
Millicent - Millicent has returned to school ready to learn. She is being a risk-taker and is trying really hard to apply her newly learnt phonics knowledge to read and spell words. She is a confident communicator and is happy to share her knowledge with her peers in class. Well done Millicent!
George - George has been fantastic this week, he is using the phonics he knows to begin to fly with his reading and his writing! I am proud of how engaged he is in our carpet sessions and communicating his ideas well, especially challenging himself for the deeper thinking questions. He is able to explain his thinking to support his peers too. Well done George!
Hallie - We have been amazed with the change in Hallie in Module 2. She is now a confident communicator and is happy to share her thoughts and ideas with the class. Well done Hallie!
Jacob - Jacob has made huge strides in his phonics over the last few weeks. He is knowledgeable in his phonics sounds and is now applying these in segmenting and blending words to read. He has a positive attitude to learning and is a willing communicator in carpet sessions. Well done Jacob!
Maisy - Maisy has been a fantastic thinker this week and has communicated her ideas well with the class. She is focusing well and trying really hard in all areas making some great progress in maths in particular. Well done Maisy!
Ryley - Ryley has been reflective this week. He is thinking about what he is learning and is taking on board the suggestions on how to improve his recorded work. He is taking more risks in his writing and challenging himself. In his independent learning time, he is taking the time to think about his actions, considers the consequences and ensures that he is a star learner both on and off the carpet. Well done Ryley, keep it up!

Frankie - Frankie is readily applying her new knowledge in her independent work, making links and connections and communicating these well. She is always an active member of the class, communicating her thinking well. I am especially impressed with her risk taking in literacy, challenging herself to write sentences in Drawing Club and reading more difficult words. Well done Frankie!

Caleb - Caleb has returned to school with a positive attitude to learning. He is growing in confidence and is able to communicate how knowledgeable he can be. Well done Caleb, keep up the hard work!
Mikhail - Mikhail has been a reflective member of the class in all that he does. He is demonstrating what a knowledgeable individual he can be. Mikhail is trying really hard to develop how open-minded he can be when listening to other people's opinions. Well done Mikhail!
Amine - Amine has grown to be a knowledgeable learner who applies her phonics when reading to blend confidently. She is also using this knowledge to write independently. Amine is also a caring member of the class. Well done Amine!
Logan - Logan has been a reflective learner this week across all areas of his learning. He has demonstrated how knowledgeable he can be. He has shown what a brilliant communicator he is when explaining his learning at home. Logan has made tremendous progress and we are so proud of him. Logan you are a star! Well done!

Logan - Logan has made phenomenal progress this Module. He has been extremely knowledgeable particularly in his phonics learning. Logan has been principled when completing learning at home. Logan has developed his communication skills, he is a keen communicator in all that he does. Well done Logan, you are an asset to the class. Keep up the hard work!

Bella - Bella has made a fantastic start to Module 2. She has shown many of the learner profile attributes this week but has particularly displayed her inquirer skills. She has asked lots of questions to embed and extend her learning further. Well done Bella!
Floss - Floss has such an amazing attitude to learning. She approaches everything she does with positivity, enthusiasm and a smile. She has shown her reflective skills this week in her phonics work, using what she already knows to improve as well as being a risk taker in her computing work to achieve an amazing final product. Well done Floss, we are so proud of you!
George-Leon - George has shown many of the learner profile attributes this week. He demonstrated his thinking skills extremely well during our workshop on toys. George was able to explain clearly his ideas on how a toy worked. He has also shown how caring he is to those around him this week. A super week George-well done!
Demians - It has been lovely to see Demians caring nature this week. He has independently offered support and help to his peers when needed and this has been very well received by all. You have been a superstar Demians and we are so proud of you!
Archie - Archie always comes into school with a smile and a positive attitude. He has been extremely knowledgeable this week with his phonics work and has demonstrated his developing skills well. He has also been a great thinker this week and reflected on feedback. Keep it up Archie!
Aleah - Aleah has been a fantastic risk taker this week. She has kept trying when she has found things tricky and not given up! It has been lovely to see how proud she is of what she has achieved! Keep it up Aleah-you are amazing!

Uswa - Uswa has settled into Module 2 beautifully and has been demonstrating all of our learner profile attributes. She is a risk taker who enjoys helping others around her. It has been lovely to see her contribute to the class and challenge herself especially in Maths. Well done Uswa!
Curt - Curt always has a lovely smile on his face and ready to help others around him. He has a amazing attitude to learning and passionate with sharing his ideas with the class especially in English. We are proud of your confidence and resilience with approaching difficult tasks. Well done Curt!
Iris - Iris is a bright learner and has an amazing attitude to learning. She challenges herself and is always ready to help children around her. We are proud of her resilience and risk-taker attitude to maths. Iris has been working hard to be confident communicator so she can share and express her ideas in and out of the classroom. Well done Iris!
Charlotte - Charlotte has been beyond fantastic this week, she has brilliantly improved her writing by adding more adjectives and conjunctions. Her confidence and smile continues to grow everyday and we are pleased to see such a positive and joyous attitude to learning. Well done Charlotte for being an excellent role model and an risk taker!

Hadley - Hadley is a passionate and resilient learner in and out of the class. In her writing, Hadley has been adventurous and confident with her ideas and sharing her opinions in class discussions. Ralphie - Ralphie has returned to school with a 'can do' attitude and is always ready to learn. He has been a great inquirer due to asking and answering lots of questions during learning time, as well as showing how knowledgeable he can be in maths lessons.
Isla - Isla has been a principled learner this week in Lizard Class. She has shown great independence when completing her learning and I have been impressed with Isla taking risks in maths lessons, especially when exchanging and crossing the ten when adding and subtracting.
Maxwell - Maxwell has been a great communicator this week by contributing his ideas in Inquiry lessons. Well done!
Teddy - Teddy has developed great confidence this week. He has been contributing his ideas to the whole class, taking risks by having a go at learning that he has been finding tricky and has developed his independence when completing writing outcomes. Well done Teddy!
George - George has been trying really hard this week to improve his handwriting and presentation in his books, showing what a great reflective learner he can be by taking on feedback from adults in the classroom. Well done George!
Dorothy - Dorothy has been a great thinker in her Inquiry lessons. She has shown great enthusiasm, especially when learning about significant individuals and shown was a great inquirer asking and answering lots of questions linked to our lines of inquiry. Well done.

Freddie - This module Freddie has shown many Learner Profile Attributes but one that he has developed greatly is his ability to be caring towards his peers. There has not been a day where Freddie has not helped a member of Lizard Class, especially if they have been finding learning difficult. You have blown be away with your kind and caring nature, well done!

George - George has settled into Module 2 incredibly well. He enters the class with a smile on his face every day and has been principled in every lesson. George has been a risk-taker and often chooses to extend his learning. Keep up the good work George.
Carter - Carter has been a risk-taker during his Maths lessons this week and is striving to become more independent with his learning. It is wonderful to see Carter's confidence grow, keep up the good work Carter!
Aura - Aura consistently follows the Learner Profile Attributes. There has not been a day where Aura has not been principled and not taken risks. It has also been great to see Aura show what a great thinker she is, especially during her Maths lesson. Keep up the good work Aura!
Micah - Micah has been a reflective learner this week and taken on feedback to improve his writing. He has also been an excellent communicator and enthusiastically participated in class discussion. Keep up the great work Micah!
Joshua - Joshua has been a reflective learner this week and taken on feedback to improve his writing. He has been less impulsive and determined to be a principled learner. Joshua has excellent communication skills and has enthusiastically participated in class discussions. Keep up the great work Joshua!
Noah - Noah has been a reflective learner this week and has really tried to manage his impulsivities to show that he is principled. He is becoming more independent in his learning and as well an improved communicator.

Willow - Willow has been a risk-taker in her maths this week. She has been attempting to work out a number of mathematical calculations independently, using a range of methods. She has really developed her confidence within math and enjoys trying to challenge herself. Well done Willow.
Hugo - Hugo has been a fantastic member of the class this week. He has demonstrated a number of different Learner Profile Attributes across the curriculum. As well as this, he has develop his social skills when working in paired and group activities.
Momoorejesu - For being really resilient and principled in her Writing this week. She has independently tried to include lots of high level vocabulary and a range of key features in her story regarding the Egyptians. Well done!
Ava - Maddie has really tried hard this week with developing her think skills. She has asked questions and tried to reflect on her learning. She was open-minded during our reading lesson and came up with a great prediction about a story we are reading. Well done!
Ali - Ali has been a fantastic member of the class this week. He has shown a range of different Learner Profile Attributes across the curriculum as well as developing his thinking skills in Maths this week. Great Job Ali! Keep it up!

Arlo - Arlo has worked tremendously hard to excel in behaviour expectations. He is making good decisions to stay focussed during lessons and this is having an incredible impact on his learning. Well done Arlo for showing maturity and wisdom in year 3!
Darasimi - Darasimi has been extremely knowledgeable during our RE lessons around Christianity. Her enthusiasm and explanations about the Bible have been exciting to listen to and everyone learnt something new about this religion. Thank you for sharing your life as a Christian and making it so interesting!
Henry - Henry has shown an excellent attitude towards his learning and is thriving with his presentation in all lessons. I am particularly proud of Henry's ability to reflect on his behaviour around the class and how he has grown in maturity in this module. Fantastic work Henry - well done!
Bobby - Bobby has excellent attendance and this allows him to take part in every learning opportunity. He is becoming more resilient and beginning to apply more learner profiles across the curriculum. Well done Bobby - keep up the great work!

Leola - Leola has proved herself to be knowledgeable this week with her geography research and presentation. Her writing has been a pleasure to read as she has shown herself to be a risk taker by mastering some tricky skills, such as the subjunctive form. Leola is a principled member of our class - a great role model to all.
Mia - Mia has been a great thinker and reflective this week in all her subjects. She has completed all her work to a high standard and is a kind, considerate member of the class - always principled and caring.
Maddie - Maddie is a principled learner, demonstrating a hard working attitude and focus throughout her lessons. She is kind and caring to her peers, a great role model and is a keen inquirer, as demonstrated in Geography this week. Well done Maddie, we are all so proud of you.

Ibiola - Ibi has shown her deep knowledge of the book we have been reading this module with an excellent start to her narrative story - drawing on it for inspiration and ideas. She has consistently well presented work, that is always to the highest standard. Betsy - Betsy has tried incredibly hard in all her subjects this module. Her writing is well thought out and she can communicate her ideas. Betsy has gone from strength to strength in maths as she has become more knowledgeable and reflective in her learning.
