Rukia - Rukia is a confident communicator and has been highly articulate in talking about her 'Mother and Others' during drawing club. Her artistic representations of her loved ones showed care and consideration to the finer details. Well done Rukia! 

Freya- Freya has been very reflective in feedback given to her about rehearsing her sentences before writing. She is now ensuring that she has all the words she needs to make her sentence make sense. She is taking more care with her letter formation in handwriting lessons and beginning to apply this in her independent writing. Well done Freya! 

Kinye - Kinye has shown an increased level of independence in his learning, including completing challenge tasks within the class. His communication to express his desires and emotions has supported his regulation within the class. Well done Kinye!

Robyn - Robyn has shown amazing progress this module and has developed an increased independence in her learning. She demonstrates all of the learner profile attributes and is an asset to the class. Well done Robyn! 

Penelope - Penelope has become a great risk taker over the course of the year so far. She is showing an increased willingness to try new things and has demonstrated a greater independence in her social skills and academic ability. Well done Penelope! 

Noa - Noa has been a fantastic inquirer this week when learning about minibeasts and their life cycles. Noa has used her communication skills to explain what we have been learning at school. Noa has been reflective in her writing and has made huge improvements. Noa is also demonstrating how knowledgeable she can be in her maths too. Keep up the hard work Noa, well done!

Oluwaniayomi - Niayomi is trying really hard to apply her knowledge of phonics to read, she is showing great determination! She is also trying to be an excellent thinker when writing in Drawing Club. Niayomi we are proud of you, keep up the hard work. Well done!

Hudson - Hudson has made phenomenal progress this module in all areas of his learning. He demonstrates all the learner profile attributes consistently. Hudson is an extremely loyal and a kind member of the class. He is an asset to Dragonfly Class. Well done Hudson!

Elsie - For being a truly principled learner who leads by example. Not only has she shown a fantastic willingness to improve her handwriting, but she is also a great communicator who isn't afraid to share her ideas to help the whole group succeed!

Callie - Callie has been a principled learner this week, showing what a great role model she is for her peers. As well as this, it has been great to see her as a reflective learner whilst completing her writing outcomes as she has been editing her sentences and taking her time with her handwriting. Well done Callie!

Grace-Estelle - Grace-Estelle is our Star of the Week for being a superstar Communicator! Whether you are sharing ideas on the carpet or being Helpful to your friends, you make our classroom better. We especially love how Reflective you are when checking your work to improve your presentation. Great job!

Louie - For being a Reflective star who always strives to improve! Louie has shown great progress in editing his work and is a wonderful Communicator. Your Caring attitude toward your learning and your friends makes you a true role model in Year 1.

Caleb - Caleb has been working really hard to communicate more during class discussions sharing his thoughts and ideas. He is developing into a great thinker and reflective in his learning particularly in improving his handwriting more often. Keep up the positive attitude. Well Done!

Tia - Tia has been a great thinker this week showing good listening skills and reflecting upon her knowledge to show her understanding. She has shared thoughtful ideas during class discussions. During English lessons, Tia has shown she is a risk-taker by presenting her work neatly and thinking carefully about how she can improve it through the use of adjectives.

Eva-Sofia - Eva-Sofia has been a principled learner this week. She always listens carefully, tries her best, and uses what she knows to expand her ideas.  This week in Maths, she has worked very hard to understand mass by identifying which objects are heavier and lighter and applying this to problem solving questions. We are so proud of your effort and positive attitude to learning!

Maddison - Maddison you are our star of the term. You consistently demonstrate all of the IB Learner Profile attributes and do this by being a shining example of what it means to be a thoughtful and reflective learner. You listen carefully to feedback, reflect on your learning, and confidently apply what you are taught, always striving to improve. You are a caring and supportive member of our class, always helping others and showing kindness— we are incredibly proud of you, keep up the amazing work!

Arthur - Arthur has shown a dedication towards his learning, taking risks and facing challenges within his learning. He tries his best in everything that he does and recognises when to ask for help. His positivity shines through and supports the culture in the classroom. Well done, Arthur!

Isabella-Rose - Isabella-Rose has been a great thinker this week, thinking carefully about how to present her work as well as how to accurately spell words. She has had the courage to try to use new vocabulary and improve her work in new ways. She has been able to demonstrate the different things she has learnt to write an informative, detailed newspaper article.

Holly - Holly demonstrates the attribute of being an inquirer through her questions and love of learning. She tries her best in everything that she does and keeps going even when faced with challenges. She is positive, kind and fair. Well done, Holly!

Bella - Bella consistently demonstrates what it means to truly be an IB learner. She is inquisitive, principled, curious, reflective, caring and more. She is supportive of others in their learning and recognises how to continue to make progress in her own. She is a true role model and an asset to the class.

Maddison - Maddison has shown excellent character this week. She has been principled, always doing the right thing, and has demonstrated strong reflection in her learning. Roman - For his principled approach towards reading, Roman has shown great determination to move up a reading level. It was wonderful to see his proud face as he achieved this milestone, well done, Roman!

Archie - Archie is the star of the module for his greatly improved attitude towards learning. He has developed a more principled approach and demonstrates a positive, can-do mindset. He has become a real risk-taker and now attempts to complete his work independently, showing increased confidence. Keep up the excellent work!

Lily - For being an exceptionally Principled member of Year 3 and a brave Communicator during our recent rehearsals. She consistently makes the right choices and acts as a role model for her peers, showing integrity and honesty in everything she does. Her amazing singing this week was a joy to hear, as she used her voice confidently to express the emotion of the music and inspire those around her. Keep being a shining example, Lily!

Arya - Well done Arya on a focused week! You have shown great concentration across all subjects, reflecting the Thinker attribute in your approach to tasks. By staying Reflective and attentive to your work, you are making steady progress in your learning. Keep up this consistent effort and balanced mindset!

Harley - Harley is a marvellous learner who is always ready to try her very best. She shows a great deal of independence and often helps her peers too. It is lovely to see how passionate she is to learn new knowledge especially maths! Well done Harley!

Joshua - Joshua has shown marvellous self-management skills this week. He is working more independently and becoming more reflective of what he is producing. We're very proud of your focus and determination in all lessons. Well done Joshua!

Harry - Harry has been a fantastic learner this week. He works to high standard in every lesson and I can always rely on him to go above and beyond during all extended challenges. He is a risk-taker, very principled as well as showing a great deal of confidence when explaining what he knows. You're a pleasure to teach - well done Harry!

Isla - Isla is an outstanding member of year 3! She has worked exceptionally well throughout the whole of module 4 and always works to a high standard. Isla shows all of the learner profiles in every lesson and can always be seen doing the right thing even when no-one is looking. I wish I could clone you - you're magnificent and you make my day!

Oliver - Oliver has become a more active learner in the classroom this week - it has been lovely to see his confidence increase. He has been a fantastic communicator during our learning, particularly in our Maths lessons. This week we have been continuing our learning of fractions and Oliver has worked hard to draw on his prior knowledge to solve mathematical problems showing how reflective he is. Well done Oliver, keep up the great work.

Ruby - Ruby has been a reflective learner this week and has worked incredibly hard. She wrote a great piece of descriptive writing in English and acted quickly and efficiently to feedback given. Ruby always approaches everything with a smile and demonstrates a positive and principled attitude in all that she does. Well done Ruby, keep up the great work! 

Delcie - Delcie has settled into Fox class extremely well this module. She has demonstrated a positive learning attitude in every subject and has taken everything in her stride. In writing this week, Delcie showed how reflective she is when editing her work, especially when uplevelling her vocabulary. It has been lovely to see her confidence develop within the classroom as she has been communicating some fantastic ideas during class discussions. Keep up the great work Delcie!

Maisie - Maisie consistently demonstrates a principled attitude and is a true role model to all children at Leigh Academy Hundred of Hoo. She shows integrity and kindness to all of her peers, and has been a particularly fantastic friend to some of our new members of the school this module. Jacob - This week Jacob has shown brilliant perseverance and determination with his learning this week. He has taken risks when it has come to his fraction knowledge to find the method that works for him when adding and subtracting fractions. Keep on shining Jacob!

Luca - This week Luca has settled in very well to Leigh Academy Hundred of Hoo. He has very quickly shown the attributes of a principled learner and is quickly finding it comfortable to take risks. Hugo - This module Hugo has worked exceptionally hard on his learning. He has shown determination and perseverance with his learning and always takes on feedback given to him. Hugo has an excellent attitude to his learning and is a pleasure to teach. Keep on shining Hugo!

Bluebelle - Bluebell has been a thinker in her learning this week. She has demonstrated excellent thinking skills during her maths and arithmetic lessons, as well as taking risks to develop her independence. Her confidence has grown so much this week, and she has really secured her understanding of multiplication across multiple digits. Well done, Bluebell

Diora - Diora has been a principled learner this week, consistently taking risks and challenging himself, particularly within his English lessons. By focusing on his communication skills, he has worked incredibly hard to deepen his overall understanding.

Nathan-Petru - It has been a pleasure to see Nathan’s reflective attitude this week. He has worked hard to enhance his writing, taking creative risks to improve his sentence structure and apply new skills to his letter. Nathan is also taking great pride in his presentation, maintaining a consistent and legible cursive style across his tasks.

Charlie - Charlie’s growing self-assurance this module has had a positive impact on his progress in all subjects. He has made particularly impressive strides in Maths, where his understanding of multiplication and division has flourished. He is now confidently tackling multi-digit calculations, showing a much higher level of mathematical fluency.

Selin - Selin has demonstrated that she is a knowledgeable learner this week, going above and beyond with her home learning as well as her classwork. She consistently shows an excellent attitude to her learning, is reflective, always striving to push her learning further. Well done Selin.

Amelia - Amelia has demonstrated her knowledge and principled approach in her assessments this week, especially her reading. She not only has a caring and kind nature to all her peers and the adults who work with her. This week Amelia has gone above and beyond with her 'communication' approach to learning -  sharing her ideas and knowledge exceptionally.  

Poppy - Poppy has demonstrated her exceptional  thinking and knowledge this week in an excellent written narrative. She has been a risk-taker, pushing the boundaries of her learning and reflected to improve her work continually. Poppy's attitude towards learning in all her subjects is excellent - she is a great role model for others.
