To begin a uPAR assessment, the student will need to log into their MyHumble account on a Chromebook. From there, they will go to Startpar.com. Then it will prompt them to select their grade level. If they chose the wrong grade level, it will allow them to go back and select their correct level.
When pulling a uPAR report, always verify that the data is up to date by checking the most recent re-check. Using the latest data ensures accurate and relevant insights. If the data is outdated, please conduct a re-check before generating the report for the most reliable results.
Taking detailed notes while a student completes a uPAR assessment provides valuable context to their results. Observations about behaviors, challenges, and strategies used can offer insights into the student's experience, helping to interpret their scores more accurately. This information supports informed decision-making when determining appropriate accommodations.
