A uPAR (Universal Protocol for Accommodations in Reading) assessment is a tool designed to evaluate how a student reads best, particularly when they struggle with traditional text. During the assessment, the student reads passages in different formats:
Independent Reading (reading on their own)
Reading with Support (using text-to-speech technology)
