Address: Kalliopirtin leirikeskus, Kalliopirtintie 20, 16610 Kärkölä
The event location is closer to Riihimäki than Lahti, so we recommend arriving via Riihimäki if possible. The route is more straightforward and favours larger roads.
Whether coming from the south or the north, it’s best to take the E12 motorway to the Riihimäki ABC service station and then turn onto Lahdentie (road 54). Drive 28 km and turn onto Joentaustantie. After 5,2 km, turn onto Kalliopirtintie.
The first aid kit and a defibrillator can be found at toll near the entrance.
Marguarite de Reims acts as the first aid coordinator at the event.
General emergency phone number in Finland is 112.
At this campsite real candles are allowed, but be sure to keep an eye on them at all times and make sure the candles are place onto something fireproof. The event stewards recommend the use of LED candles.
In the event building there are two corridors to sleeping quarters, red and blue. The rooms will have bunk beds for 4 persons with an additional space for a person bringing their own mattress/camp bed. You can find out which room to use at the event toll near the entrance of the building.
Please bring your own bed sheets: under sheet, duvet cover and pillow cover. Pillows and duvets will be provided in the rooms. Under sheet is mandatory even if you choose to bring a sleeping bag.
The event building has a wood burning sauna with an attached showering room and a terrace. The sauna area has two dressing rooms and toilets. Generally the sauna will be used simultaneously by all genders both in the evenings and after the fighting matches. You may wear a clean towel or a clean swimsuit in the sauna, but be aware that most people choose not to. Sauna can be reserved for a time for separate genders if wished during the day on Saturday, please ask about this at the toll on Friday evening or Saturday morning.
In addition to this, both sleeping corridors have showering rooms and restrooms. More information about these showers below.
The shower room in the red corridor is for those who wish to shower alone. There will be a vacant/occupied (vapaa/varattu) sign on the door. Please remember to turn the sign back to vacant (vapaa) when exiting the shower!
The shower room in the blue corridor is for women only.
There is a fridge in the feast hall where you can keep extra snacks if you wish.
Your own beverages are advised to be kept outside as the weather will keep them nice and cold.
