Notes:
Do not overload your daily schedule - reduce content delivery - less is more - be selective.
Consider variation and engagement.
Be mindful of Ss situations at home - stressed families, no/shared devices, limited modeling/support, etc.
Community (connecting) is more important than content - let Ss know you will be reaching out to them in person (through phone call or other means) each week.

Neuroscience based Universal Design for Learning supports our need to message clear expectations. This supports students in task management.
View screen free time section of resources by grade level for content. Remember to include non only text, but also images and visual models of content.
As students engage in conversations about learning, taking notes of what they hear, say, and wonder supports language development and fosters inquiry.
Consider more than one way for students to demonstrate their understanding of content. One non-tech dependent option to consider is sketchnoting.
