On this website you will find some helpful information about the HMS Orchestra Program and resources to guide your at-home practice. Use the titles at the top of the page to visit the rest of the site.
The Hudson Middle School Orchestras consist of three grade level ensembles (6th grade Orchestra, 7th grade Orchestra, and 8th grade Orchestra). For 6th grade and 7th grades, they are split into two ensembles of the same ability level and then come together during the concerts. 8th grade meets as one ensemble and plays together at the our concerts.
Each year all of the grade levels take a trip to see the MN Orchestra in Minneapolis. For 7th and 8th grade, students also have the opportunity to participate in the District Solo and Ensemble Festival and to audition for the Wisconsin Middle Level Honors Orchestra.
