DREAM IT. MAKE IT.
That's our motto here at the HHS Makerspace; there's no need to limit yourself! From engineering a data-gathering weather balloon to developing cutting-edge fashion designs, our members do it all. Our goal is to provide a space for you to shine, where you'll work alongside others who share your passion in STEM. Not sure where to start? You're already on the right track! Keep reading.
OUR COMMUNITY.
Every Wednesday, we meet as a group from 8-9:30 for lessons and projects that range from teaching basic machinery skills to complex circuitry, apparel design, and even drone and model aircraft construction. Beyond these meetings, you'll find a wealth of knowledge in our returning members, who are always excited to help pass down their skills and ideas.
OUR PROJECTS.
Though it's tough to categorize our wide range of interests, they fall into three primary categories: rapid manufacturing, electronics + programming, and domestic engineering. Check out the table below to get a feel for what each category offers, and remember that we focus on combining elements from all three categories in our projects!

In addition to these projects, our club works together to compete in the annual Summit County Engineer Mini Bridge Building Competition, drawing talent and input from all club members.
OUR LEADERS.
At the end of the day, we're more than a STEM club; by joining, you'll pick up essential soft traits such as problem solving and analytical thinking skills, technical communication skills, planning skills, and artistic appreciation. In short, we're forging tomorrow's leaders of society in our process.
