Your blood pressure readings never leave your iPhone. The App has no server of its own, no accounts and no analytics. The only thing that leaves your device is an anonymous record of your subscription, and this policy explains exactly what that is.
THE SHORT VERSION
No account is ever created. There is nothing to sign up for — no email address, no password, no profile on any server.
Your readings stay on your device. Every measurement, note, average and streak is stored on your iPhone and shared only with the App's own widgets, Live Activity and Apple Watch app on your own devices.
We operate no health backend. The App does not upload your blood pressure anywhere, because there is nowhere for it to go.
No ads, no trackers, no data sales. There are no advertising or analytics SDKs in the App, and no cross-app tracking.
WHAT THE APP STORE LABEL SAYS
Our App Store privacy label declares two items, both marked as not linked to your identity and not used for tracking:
Purchases — Purchase History. Apple's purchase receipt is validated so your Pro subscription can be restored on your devices.
Identifiers — Device ID. A random identifier generated on first launch, used only to attach that subscription to your installation.
Neither item contains health data, and neither identifies you.
DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
Blood pressure readings. Systolic and diastolic values, optional pulse, the time of the reading, and the optional arm, body position, note and medication flag you choose are saved in the App's private storage. They are also placed in a shared container on your device so the widget, the Live Activity and your paired Apple Watch can display them. That container is accessible only to the App and its own extensions.
Your profile and reminders. Reminder times, your reason for tracking, streak counters and the last day you logged a reading are stored locally. Reminder notifications are scheduled by iOS on your device; nothing is sent from a server.
Apple Health (optional). If you grant permission, the App writes your readings to Apple Health, and can import blood pressure already stored there once, so you do not start with an empty diary. This exchange happens entirely on your device under Apple's HealthKit rules. Health data is never transmitted to us and, as HealthKit requires, is never used for advertising and never sold. You can revoke access at any time in the Health app.
Reports, exports and backups. The doctor report (PDF), the spreadsheet export (CSV) and the full backup file are all generated on your device and handed to the iOS share sheet. Where each one goes next — Files, iCloud Drive, Mail, a printer — is your choice. We never receive them, and restoring a backup reads only the file you select.
PURCHASES
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. Our subscription provider, AppActor, receives the App Store receipt together with the anonymous install identifier described above, so that Pro access can be validated and restored. That identifier contains nothing about you and is not linked to your readings, which never leave your device. We never see your name, payment details or Apple ID. AppActor may also deliver a small remote configuration to the App — for example which promotional content to show. That is a download, not an upload of your data.
WHAT WE DO NOT DO
We do not collect, receive, store or transmit your blood pressure or any other health data.
We do not sell or rent data to anyone, ever.
We use no advertising networks, no cross-app tracking and no fingerprinting. The App shows no App Tracking Transparency prompt, because it does not track you.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or location.
DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Because your diary lives on your device, you control it entirely: delete individual readings inside the App, or delete the App to remove all of its local data at once. Readings you chose to write to Apple Health remain in Apple Health and can be deleted there. On the subscription side, only the anonymous purchase record needed for restoration exists, and it holds no health data.
SERVICE PROVIDERS
Apple — payment processing through the App Store and, if you enable them, Apple Health and notifications, all on your device.
AppActor — anonymous subscription validation and remote configuration.
There are no other processors, because no other data is sent anywhere.
YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR and the CCPA, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete personal data. Since we hold no health data at all and nothing that identifies you, these rights are exercised directly on your device: view, export (PDF, CSV or backup) or delete your readings there. We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA. If you have any question about this, write to us and we will help.
CHILDREN
The App is not directed at children under 13, or the equivalent minimum age in your region, and we do not knowingly process their data.
MEDICAL DISCLAIMER
The App records readings you take with your own blood pressure monitor. It does not measure blood pressure, it is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice or diagnosis. Category labels follow published ACC/AHA guidance and are shown for general information only. Always consult your doctor about your readings, and never delay seeking medical care because of something the App shows you.
CHANGES
If we change this policy, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Material changes will be highlighted in the App.
