Course Materials – 3 Ring Notebook, 4GB Flash drive, Paper, Pen/Pencil (no red ink)
Purpose - The purpose of this course is to explore the complex issues of holocaust. The origin, events, and its impact on the world past, present, and future.
Scope - We will focus our efforts on the history of anti-Semitism, WWI, Weimar Republic, Rise of Nazism, anti-Semitism during the Reich, WWII, the evolution of the final solution, the final solution, the fall of the Reich, resistance, the Nuremberg Trials, creation of a Jewish state, genocide post WWII.
Method - Classroom instruction will consist of instructor presentation, individualized reading and writing activities, as well as problem solving individual and group work.
Structure – We will use current media/essays/reports coupled with historical analysis of past events spanning the scope of the course.
Assessment – In Class Activities and Assignments – Don’t miss class. Much is done and is difficult to comprehend without classmates and instructor.
Class Participation – Discussion plays a large role in what we learn. Assessed through score discussions.

Essay Questions – “Conspiracy” - “Schindler’s List” - Witness Testimony
Final – worth one tenth of the final grade
