The Steinert Model Congress is a group of politically conscious Steinert students participating in the state-wide NJ Model Congress competition. We are dedicated to learning more about our government as well as debating and challenging each other's ideas. We are a free and open environment for all ideas and political beliefs to be shared.

We currently have 8 members: Sajid Ahmed, Mahi Aneja, Ryan James, Cole Brady, Evan Ziccardi, Fadi Farag, Annesimone Farid, Alexander DiFalco. Mr. Holcombe has agreed to be our facility supervisor. I, Alexander DiFalco and Evan Ziccardi brought Steinert to participate in this year's NJ Model Congress. It will be our first year!

We usually have 1-2 meetings per month, our last meeting focused on coming up with political issues we’d like to see the NJ Model Congress address. We discussed topics like the Federal debt, Healthcare, Foreign Policy, Resource Independence, Economy, and Taxes. Stay on the lookout for our club fundraiser happening soon at Brother Pizza on Rt. 33! We are looking forward to this year, hope to see some of you at our next meeting!
