Steinert’s robotics team Zero Gravity has undergone some changes since its last season during the winter and spring of 2022. This year, the team’s new coach Dawn Papale has worked alongside students to fundraise, purchase new equipment, and setup the newly furnished robotics room. The team has spent time completely reorganizing the shop and classroom space to prepare for this year's season. The first interest meeting for students and parents will be held on Wednesday, October 12 in C4 at 6pm.
This year’s CVC debate league resolve is “Should the United States Federal Government substantially increase security cooperation with NATO in one or more of the following areas: artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, or biotechnology?” The affirmative team makes the argument that the US should increase its cooperation while the negative attacks the idea in its entirety. The season has officially begun and our two teams now debate other schools each Thursday.
The Page Turners welcomes readers of all kinds! Whether you are an avid reader, in a reading slump, or absolutely hate reading, we welcome you to join us. Within our book club we discuss all of our current reads and have an absolute blast while doing so! We occasionally do group reads, in which we all read the same book and have invigorating discussions. This club is not just about reading but making personal connections through literature!
The SHS Choir is holding a Cabaret Night on Monday, October 24th at 6:30 in the auditorium. Be sure to get your tickets and come out to see this exciting event! Check out the Instagram page, “steinert_choir” for more information.
