Help the Society is a student-run club (with faculty advisors) that meets the needs of the local and global community. Club members raise awareness and funds for a variety of different organizations. Some of these organizations include: 30 Hour Famine, local food banks, Canadian Cancer Society, and Free the Children.

The school has established a fantastic opportunity whereby our students can give service at a local soup kitchen. Selected students from Grades JK to 12 set up tables, prep food, serve the community and clean up. Aside from the actual serving of food there is also a wonderful fellowship opportunity for all those involved.
NOTE: MARTHA'S TABLE opportunities may be altered due to Covid-19 restrictions.
The Community Service Club operates as a co-curricular during the winter term. Students have the opportunity to give service to a number of local community organizations including: Delmanor Seniors Home, Yellow Brick House, Salvation Army, and York Centre for Children and Families.
X2VOL is to be used by all HTS students to find, reflect and submit your community service hours. Visit the x2VOL Google Site to create an account, see valuable resources and learn about rich service opportunities where you can give back to your community.
