*Covid 19 School Closure – 15.03.2020 attendance dropped to 91.8% by 22nd March. During 2020-2021, attendance varied due to lockdowns and self isolation requirements. Our attendance increased from 82.6% to 91.2% and overall was 87.6%.
The school operates a traffic lights system and parents receive letters so they know how well their child is doing for attendance.
• If your child has GREEN attendance, then this means that they have achieved 95% attendance or above, which is the minimum Government expectation.
• If your child has YELLOW attendance, this means that they have attendance of below 95% but above 90% and have therefore had an above average amount of time off school. It may be that these absences have been due to illness but we feel you should be aware that your child's attendance is below the minimum level recommended and that they are at a risk of underachieving.
• If your child has RED attendance, this means that they have had significant periods of time off school (below 90%) and are at risk of significantly underachieving as a result.
Please support us to reach our attendance target of 95% by ensuring your child is in school on time every day.
