About Thespians

The International Thespian Society aims to promote the advancement and excellence of educational theatre and the continual enrichment of theatre arts appreciation worldwide. The Thespian Honor Society celebrates the dedication of each troupe member as well as their contributions to advocating for theatre education in our community!

NJ Thespians/ITS

Thespians are recognized not only locally, but on the state and international levels as well. There have been over 2 million inducted Thespians since 1929, each member belonging to a diverse network of performers, designers, and crew members. Each year, Thespians festivals are held in-state and nationally, allowing Thespians the opportunity to perform for other troupes, audition for scholarships, and celebrate their achievements in theatre.
