Use the reading lessons guide. Review yesterday's words or go back to Jan. 20-23 and have the child read the words and sentences for this date. You may need to write out the words in a bigger font for more success.
Get a sheet of writing paper. Use the lines and have them write their name and date (ex: 1-10-26) at the top of the paper. Then they should write five of the words that they practiced reading and at least 3 of the sentences. Then they should make up one sentences using any of the words they read and write it down. (Use any of the previous lessons)
Use a piece of grid paper and have the child write the numbers 31-60, etc. Use the number formation poem and 100’s chart to help.
Use the list of math activities or math mat and do at least two of those activities. Date the activity that you pick. If there are additional NTI days, pick different activities. (Our focus is beginning addition, so you may want to pick activities for this.)
Read a book with your child (any book you have) and have them draw a picture of something that happens in the book and color it. Encourage details. Write the title of the book at the top of the paper. (See below if you want them to watch a book video instead)
