Clubs

Every semester the 7^th and 8^th grade students can freely attend a club of the following categories: Languages, Mathematics and Sciences, Handicraft, Athletics, Services, and Music.

1. Languages: Reading Club, Japanese Club, Calligraphy Club, English Reading Club, Movie Club, Hokkien Club, and English Conversation Club

2. Mathematics and Sciences: Mathematical Thinking Club, Biological Observation Club, Scientific Experiments Club

3. Handicraft: GreenMech Club, Science and Technology Club, Creative Jewelry Club, and Sewing Club

4. Athletics: Diabolo Club, Billiard Club, Soccer Club, and Basketball Club

5. Services: Scout Club is the largest club in the school. Every scout must undertake various scout activities and public services every year.

6. Music: Chinese Music Club, school choir, Jazz Band, Pop Music Club, Dance Club, and Guitar Club

(1) Chinese Music Club has been founded for 12 years. Practicing in holidays, the students have won prizes from national student contests, and often participated in many public performances.

(2) The school choir consists of students fond of singing. They practiced in weekly club time, and have won numerous prizes representing the school in national student music competitions.

(3) The Jazz Band is the first Jazz band constituted by junior high school students in New Taipei City. The students practiced in weekly club time. During lunchtime on Fridays, they performed or played jazz to fill the campus with music.
