About the PE Teachers

Mrs. Vega and Mrs. Halley began teaching together in 2013. 

 Both teachers love teaching kids to move and be active. 

Mrs. Vega:

My name is Molly Vega.  This is my 10th year teaching PE at Hillsboro Primary.  I'm a Hillsboro Alumni and happy to be teaching at Hillsboro Primary!!  I graduated in 2011 from Missouri Baptist University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.  I also have my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and certifications in Early Childhood Education and Physical Education K-12. 

When I'm not at school, I like to go camping and spend time with my family and our cute goldendoodle named Sugar.  I'm a HUGE Cardinals Baseball fan!  I like to go to games as often as I can.  My husband Fernando and I, have a son named Cruz and a daughter named Marcella. 

Mrs. Halley:

My Name is Erin Halley.  I am starting my 19th year here at the primary.  I graduated in 2005 from University of Missouri St. Louis with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Education and minors in Biology and Sports Sciences.  I completed my masters in Physical Education, Exercise & Sport Science from the University of Central Missouri. 

In my free time I love to work out and play with our 2 girls. I am a huge sports fan.   My husband and I love watching our girls learn to play different sports and find what they enjoy.   I also love coaching and watching our 10 and 6 year daughter's soccer, volleyball, softball and basketball teams.  My family loves cheering the for the Cardinals, Blues, and Mizzou!

In our free time we love to travel, spend time at the lake, play outside, and play games with our girls.
