Review what DUAL CREDIT is, and how it can be a valuable opportunity for students. Trainees will learn the vocabulary associated with dual credit. They will also come away with an understanding on how to advise/support students accessing this opportunity. We will also cover risks associated with dual credit and our emphasis on purposeful credit.

Topics will include an overview of: types of college applications (direct vs. Common app), helping students prepare and submit applications, writing letters of recommendation, types of financial aid, scholarships, and more.
