Dance Team is the perfect mix of performing, competing, and being part of something bigger than yourself. We train in styles like jazz, hip hop, pom, and contemporary, while building strength, technique, and confidence as performers.
We welcome dancers of all experience levels, whether you’ve been dancing for years or are trying something new. What matters most is a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a strong work ethic.
We perform at games and school events, bringing energy, school spirit, and “Game Day” hype to the crowd. We also compete at competitions, where we challenge ourselves, set goals, and push to be our best as a team.
Being on Dance Team takes commitment and hard work, but it’s also a lot of fun. You’ll grow as a dancer, make close friendships, and be part of a team that supports each other both on and off the floor.

Prep classes are also an excellent opportunity to meet current and interested team members, the coaches, and to get a feel for what Dance Team is about.
We recommend that dancers wear comfortable form fitting athletic clothing such as leggings, shorts, tank tops, and shirts. We ask that you avoid oversized and baggy clothing to properly evaluate alignment while dancing. We recommend wearing athletic sneakers. Hair should be pulled back and secured out of your face, and all jewelry must be removed.
All dancers are required to bring water to prep classes and tryouts. There will be lots of opportunity for hydration and the ability to refill waterbottles as needed. Aside from water, be sure to bring your completed tryout packet to a prep class or to tryouts day of. Failure to turn in your tryout packet will result in not participating in tryouts.
