One School, One Book

University Park Elementary is excited to participate in One School, One Book, which is an initiative of Read to Them, a 501 C (3) non-profit organization promoting family literacy. Their mission is to create a culture of literacy in every home. 

The goal of One School, One Book is to get families involved in literacy by reading aloud together. Our 2022-2023 selection was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Thanks to a generous gift from the UP Dads Club, every family and staff member received a copy of their own copy of the book to read nightly as a family.
