Students are already enjoying summer; however, some families may be looking for opportunities for their children to engage in practice and enrichment learning activities throughout the break. Practicing skills over the summer can be a great way to stay connected to learning. HPISD has compiled this site for families and students to access resources during the summer months.
This collection of math and reading activities for students is offered by grade level to avoid learning loss or provide accelerated instruction per your principal's recommendation. We suggest you begin working with resources for the student's grade level for the 2020-2021 school year and progress to the student's grade level for the 2021-2022 school year.
Directions:
Select elementary, intermediate/middle, or high school using the menu at the top of the site.
Select your/your child's grade. You will be directed to a page that contains both reading and math resources.
Read the directions for accessing each resource.
Review the resources to select those most appropriate for you/your child.
Engage for a recommended 1-1.5 hours per subject each week.
Have fun!
