Texas BlueBonnet Award

The  TBA program's goal is to encourage reading for pleasure. Titles are chosen for both quality and appeal to children.  All 3rd and 4th graders are eligible for the Bluebonnet Reading Program.  This program allows Boone students to join students statewide to vote for the winner of the Texas Bluebonnet Award. To be eligible, students must read a minimum of five of the nominated books for that year.  In January/February, all eligible students come to the library for a Bluebonnet Voting Party.  The library has multiple copies of each book. Third and Fourth Grade Students

If you have finished reading a book from the 2024-2025 Bluebonnet List, please click HERE to complete your Bluebonnet Reading Log and get credit for your book. Remember, you have to read at least five of the book choices!
