Hello, my name is Barbie Jackson and I am thrilled to be the library media specialist at Boone Elementary!

I have been teaching for many years. I have taught in grades pre-k through sixth. This will be my sixth year in the school library.  I hold two Master's degrees, one in Elementary Education and the other in Library Science. I have a huge love of books and learning.

In my free time, I enjoy making memories with my husband, my two adult children, Eariel and BJ, and our yorkie, Benjamin-Petee. I look forward to a great year of learning, building lasting relationships, and of course, reading great books!
