At Bradfield we LOVE authors! Each year, thanks to the generosity of our PTA and HP Arts, we host local and national authors to share their craft with our students. Author visits are a great way to get our students reading, writing and thinking creatively. Check out our gallery below!
2022-23 author visits
So far this year, we have had virtual visits from Sandra Markle and Sarah Mlynowski, along with live appearances from The Singing Zoologist, Melissa Stewart and Kate Messner. Still to come, we are looking forward to our Second Storytelling Festival to coincide with the Highland Park Literary Festival in March.

2021-22 Year in Review
In 2021-22 we hosted Graphic Novel Superstar Author Nathan Hale, One School One Book Mystery Reader Emily Jenkins and Storytellers Joe Hayes, Sue Kuentz, Tom McDermott and Toni Simmons during our first ever Storytelling Festival--all thanks to generous donations from our Bradfield PTA, Dads Club and HP Arts!Â
