• You will be graded on a “cumulative points” system.

Each assignment will be worth a certain number of points. For example, a quick assignment might only be worth 3 points. A longer assignment might be worth 10 points. A test might be worth 25 points or more.

• Your grade is the percentage of points you have earned by the end of the quarter

• Homework is expected to be submitted on time because each day’s lesson builds on the day before. Also, since we go over answers in class after work is graded, I can’t give you points for late work once we have reviewed the work. If you are out sick, the school policy is for all work to be completed within three days.

• On select assignments, especially writing, I may give you the option to re-submit for a higher score.
