Grading practices will follow a standards-based framework designed to provide direct feedback regarding students’ progress and mastery of course content.
Grading practices and guidelines will align with New York State’s learning standards and the New York State English as a Second Language Achievement Test.
Daily attendance will be taken in Infinite Campus, our student management system, based on the required daily scheduled student contact and engagement. Please see the handbook for your school's attendance policy.

Course Objectives:
English Language Learners will work to improve the quality of their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in English.
English Language Learners will practice all four modalities (speaking, reading, writing, listening) using grade level content while building necessary Tier 1 and Tier 2 vocabulary.
