Science Databases- Databases we have that focus on science topics including "Science Reference Center" and "Science Reference eBook Collection." Search Science Reference Center by "Publication" to access articles from specific magazines/journals.
Environment & Sustainability Databases- These databases could also be useful depending on your subject area. "GreenFILE" has information covering all aspects of human impact to the environment.
Current Events Databases-Databases we have that focus on current events. Includes "Gale in Context: Global Issues" for issues happening around the world- good for information on current landscape of advocacy around the world. You can search by "Publication" if you are looking for a particular magazine. "US West Newsstream (ProQuest)" for the Honolulu Star-Advertiser and other Hawaii papers.
General Research Databases- Databases with articles covering most subject areas. A good place to start for general background knowledge include "World Book Encyclopedia" and "Explora." " Try "Academic Search Complete" or "JSTOR" after searching the Science specific databases. Search "Britannica ImageQuest" for photos.

JSTOR Text Analyzer- Drag and drop an article into the text analyzer and you will be given a list of relevant keywords, as well as other similar sources available in JSTOR.

Nature is an open source and peer reviewed journal that publishes research from across the natural sciences, psychology, medicine, and engineering. We have access to Nature's content in our Science Reference Center database from 1997-2015.
