Chapter 4

The American Revolution

In this chapter the students will learn about the events of the Revolutionary War, the war by which the United States won its independence. They will learn about some of the major battles that occurred between the American colonists and the British army and how geography sometimes affected their outcomes. The students will also read the Declaration of Independence, one of the most important political documents in all of American history.
