"Drones in School" 2026 Season (Results)

Simulator Races October 2024 through January 2025 (#3 overall standing, races only)

Simulator Race Results provided another invitation to the National Championship (invited in 2024, 2025, and now in 2026)

TCDRL Regional Competition (Warren G Harding High School)

The Tiger Drones won the Championship as well as 1st in "Head to Head" racing and 2nd in "Capture the Flag". Best results so far (using stock drone frames).

Drones in School National Championship (Xpontential Conference in Detroit, Michigan)

Display and Materials were well received. Problems with our drone design (3D printed) and component combinations did not allow our pilots to show off their flight skills. They worked so hard and everyone tried to support them (including members from other teams). We learned lessons that will help future teams.

It was a season with great Highs and terrible Lows. But in the end, the team did a Great Job!

2026 TCDRL Races - CHAMPIONS!

The Trumbull County Drone Racing League Championship was held at Warren G Harding High School.

The team WON the Championship as well as 1st place in Head to Head Racing and 2nd place in Capture the flag.

They were qualified to be invited to the Nationals in Detroit!

Virtual (time trials) Races November 2024 through February 2025 (#5 overall standing, race, video, display, and portfolio standing)

Drone teams compete in monthly Virtual Events with video - Race Results (Leaderboard): November: #1 December: #2, January: #2, February: due 3/1/2025

2025 TCDRL Races- Head-Head Champion

Our Drone Team did a good job with their Display, Portfolio, Video and Materials they brought to this event.

Judges were impressed by the two new Drone Frames they built (for demonstration).

Gavin Boyts got 1st place in the Head-to-Head races and Shaun Sudol got 2nd place in the Capture the Flag event.

We are very proud of this successful season!

2024 TCDRL Races - Head-Head Champion

Team won the Head to Head FPV Competition. Team members at the event included: Gavin Boyts, Shaun Sudol, Sawyer Ross, and Hayden Plant.

Family and Friends were there to cheer them on to their first victory at a local Drone event.

We have high hopes for the team to compete Nationally if we can gain funding.
