Weekly Meetings are on Wednesdays (5:00 to 7:00 PM) in the Robotics Lab.
Join us on Saturdays during "Open Lab" from 1 to 5 PM (come and go at anytime).

Attended the 2026 Jen+Tonic Polo for STEM event on August 15th (East Palestine, Ohio):
Students and Mentors demonstrated our STEM technologies including our new T-Shirt Cannon. JRPF Fund provided a $690 donation.
HHS Drone Team won the TCDRL Championship at WGH High School
Our FPV pilot (MageFPV) won the Head to Head races (1st place). Then our Capture the Flag pilot (Shaun) was a very close 2nd place. Our Marketing team won 2nd place for their video, display and portfolio. And all combined, they won the overall Championship.
HHS FIRST Robotics Team Ranked 19 out of 41 at 2026 FRC Buckeye Regional
The team ended 5-6-0 which is the highest they have scored and ranked in the past 5 years of competition. This years robot was complex and the team worked hard to perfect its design, control, and autonomous systems to be more competitive.
VEX Robot Teams competed at MCCTC Qualifier and Invitational Events:
Our students built, enhanced, and drove the 2026 VEX Season Hero Bot in two different local events. They qualified for semi-finals at both events. It was a great experience and we have plans for earlier robot development next season.
FRC Team won at Voltage Valley Vibe in the #1 Alliance:
Our students successfully collaborated with teams in Voltage Valley Vibe to get in the first alliance and then not long after win the tournament.
Our first Student Designed T-Shirt Cannon Robot was finally assembled over the 2026 Summer break. We plan to improve it this school year and use at community events.

What is the goal of the HHS Robotics Program?
Our main goal is to provide “STEM Learning in a Safe Environment”. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. We investigate and understand many STEM areas (Computers, 3D Printing, and Robot Design, Coding, Assembly and Driving) with the intent of building Robots for FIRST® Robotics Competitions, VEX Robotics, "Drones in School", and demonstration Robots for both School and Public events.
The FIRST® Robotics Competition expands upon STEM experiences to include student leadership, being a team player, and functional skills to be a good competitor. All while exhibiting Gracious Professionalism to everyone involved.
FIRST® “For Inspiration & Recognition of Science & Technology”.
We are using the materials from our previous four seasons to build our sixth year robot for the 2027 FIRST season and participating in local off-season events. Our sub-teams focus on specific tasks such as Robot Design, Coding, Assembly, Driving, and Marketing as well as Cross-Functional training as the season progresses.
New GAME for 2027 FRC Season launched on January 9th. Our regional event is late March in Cleveland (Wolstein Center).
