In art students will learn about Artists, Art History, and to appreciate art in all aspects of their lives. All art units include the Four Parts of Art: Art History, Aesthetics, Art Creation and Artistic Techniques, and Art Criticism. In class we will use a range of artistic materials, learn about different artistic techniques, and learn about artistic careers.

My Goals

As an educator I wish to guide students to use Art as a tool for developing their full potential. My goal is to build problem-solving skill and develop understanding through a learning process that involves the sequential steps of thought, action, achievement, fulfillment, and the resulting growth of consciousness. Through Art, students will learn about artistic careers which will help them in the decisions for their futures. The ability to integrate knowledge with experiences in the art room creates a sense of wholeness, enriches lives, and builds on perceptual skills.
