What is the HJHS ART CLUB?
It is a great opportunity for students to work together, create art, and further artistic talents for our school. Students will learn how to work together through group projects that will beautify the school and our community. The art club consists of students who are interested in giving their time and talents to go above and beyond the classroom setting. The art club provides an opportunity for students to gather, volunteer, and demonstrate their talents for our school and community.
HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?
Please return the completed registration form and $20.00 fee by the October 5th deadline to your 1st period teacher or Ms. Van Gilder (room 65). Our Art Club structure for this year will depend entirely on the total number of students who sign up. If we have 25 or fewer students express interest, the club will meet all together once a month throughout the school year. However, if more than 25 students sign up, we will divide the group by grade level into separate 7th and 8th-grade cohorts, with each cohort participating for one semester to ensure everyone gets a quality art experience.
