Through their innovative Connecting Tables program, they transform surplus food into nutritious, ready-to-eat meals, which are thoughtfully distributed through strategic "free meal fridges" throughout the community. These fridges, located in vital areas like Bethel Suites transitional housing and Innovation Academy, ensure that quality food is accessible to anyone in need, at any time, with dignity and discretion.
The crown jewel of The Ivy Table's vision is their groundbreaking pay-it-forward café in Brighton – the first of its kind in the area. In a community where 1 in 13 people face food insecurity, and half don't qualify for government assistance, this café represents more than just a place to eat. It's a space where high-quality, fresh ingredients create meals that bring together people from all walks of life, where the lines between giving and receiving blur into a beautiful expression of community.
