Welcome to the Summer Guitar Intensive!

The vision of the Summer Guitar Intensive is to serve the Houston ISD student community by providing quality education in guitar for students.  We strive to give every student with an interest in guitar a quality opportunity to learn and study the instrument, in a safe environment guided by expert teachers and mentors.  The Summer Guitar Intensive is a free educational opportunity for all Houston ISD students regardless of any criteria.  

The Summer Guitar Intensive is a sponsored by Houston ISD Departmnt of Fine arts and Guitar Initiative, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit public charity organization dedicated to providing free guitar education opportunities for students throughout the greater Houston region.

Our primary sponsors are Houston ISD, Bellaire High School and the Bellaire MS Guitar Program which provide the rehearsal space, the Bellaire MS Auditorium and lunch and breakfast for students.
