Class Overview
Throughout the year, we will examine the author's craft, analyze the power of language, and develop our literacy skills. We will always be “in” a book that we can and want to read, either independently, in partners/groups, or as a class. At Lanier, we focus on students as individuals in order to create a more authentic learning environment, ultimately leading our students to become self-directed, life-long readers and writers.
