Google Apps for Education is packed with tons of tools to empower you and your students. However many of us can get lost in the various menus and options that Google has to offer.
How often have you found yourself wishing you could simply have your own IT guy sitting right next to you who could walk you through all of these steps one more time.
Well that's where Google's new Training for Google Apps comes to the rescue. To use it you have to download and install it from the Chrome Web Store. Then go to any Google Apps for Education service like Drive, Docs, Sheets or Slides. Look in the top right corner and you will see a brightly colored circle with question mark.
The extension will then launch an interactive, step-by-step guide for each service Google offers. Lets say for example you open Google Drive and you want to know how to share a folder with a colleague . All you have to do is click on the question mark icon, search for "sharing a folder" and select your results.
You should then begin to hear an explination of the feature and an interacitve guide walk you through all of the required steps
